JUDITH GARRNO WINS $1 MILLION IN THRILLING CONCLUSION OF DOWNTOWN RENO’S STAY, PLAY & WIN PROMOTION
Judith Garrno of Fair Oaks, CA was the winner of a life-changing $1 million prize at today’s thrilling conclusion of Downtown Reno’s second annual Stay, Play & Win promotion sponsored by Circus Circus Reno, Eldorado Hotel Casino, Harrah’s Reno, and Silver Legacy Resort Casino. During the ten-month promotion, sponsoring properties collectively awarded more than $2 million as they qualified 2,000 people to play in the October 24 & 25 slot tournament at the City Center Pavilion.
After a series of rounds throughout the two-day event, two winners from Circus Circus and three winners from Eldorado, Harrah’s Reno, and Silver Legacy met in an extremely exciting 15-minute match where Garrno, who was representing Silver Legacy, was awarded the $1 million (paid as an annuity). The other eleven final round participants took home prizes ranging between $25,000 and $2,000.
